Mad Wife In The Attic

Wigs

I make most of my wigs using either Tibetan lamb skins or hard cap wigs with a variety of fibers. The hard cap wigs you’ll see here are based on a technique I learned in a class taught by Diane Keeler.  I’m very particular about the fit so I construct the wigs to fit as naturally as possible. I like to experiment with restyling commercially made wigs and also using unusual fibers. Making wigs is very time consuming and it is difficult to find the perfect materials. If a great wig is commercially available, I usually opt to purchase instead of making one. But when a doll needs something special to get the right look, it is a joy to make a custom wig.

I sometimes take wig commissions and offer wigs for sale. Please check my “Sales” page for current availability.
